Southern California-based Alice Wallace is an Americana singer/songwriter whose powerful, elastic singing and melodic, literate song-crafting skill earned her the title of Best Country/Americana Artist from the LA Music Critic Awards in 2016. Alice grew up in a musical family and she took up guitar when she was 10. Her musical influences include Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Dwight Yoakam, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Patsy Cline, and Willie Nelson. Alice has been touring full-time for the past 4 years. Her original music mixes elements of classic country, folk and blues (and a hint of yodel!) into songs about love, loss and life on the road. She has released three CDs and her latest album, Memories, Music & Pride, was named Best Country/Americana Album in late 2015 by the LA Music Critic Awards and one of the top 20 releases of 2015 by OC Weekly.
