We are pleased to welcome Bob Livingston back to Arhaven House Concerts. As a member of Austin’s legendary Lost Gonzo Band, Bob played an integral role in creating the music that first earned Austin the designation of 'Live Music Capital of the World' while performing and recording with such musical visionaries as Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Martin Murphey, and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Traveling since the 80’s as a Music Ambassador for the US State Department, Bob has taken Texas music as far afield as India, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. These tours earned him the honor of being appointed, “Ambassador of Goodwill” by the State of Texas and “Austin’s International Music Ambassador” by the City of Austin. This past year Bob was inducted into the “Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame." Bob’s latest release, Gypsy Alibi, was co-produced by Lloyd Maines and won "Album of the Year" at the Texas Music Awards 2011. A new album, Up The Flatland Stairs, on Howlin’ Dog Records will be released later this year. Bob's songs have been recorded by the Lost Gonzo Band, Jerry Jeff Walker, Walt and Tina Wilkins, Gary P. Nunn, Terri Hendrix, and others.
